Halloween at Frog End - 31st October 2012

As usual at this time of year we spent the early evening carving pumpkins (and eating fudge). Ian did a pirate ship and I did an owl.

Don't they grow so quickly...

Don't they grow so quickly...
You couldn't get a more innocent soul!

It's such tiring work keeping these humans entertained all the time.

Ivy arrives

We have a new member of the household:-

As yet she hasn't got a name - she's just Kitten.

She seems to have a lovely temperament.

Hardly a handful.

That early morning look!

By Jove, he's fit!

Gaz cycles a lot on the Island.  He cycled from Stornoway to Tarbert in under two hours the other day.  According to Google Maps that's 36.1 miles and takes 59 minutes in a car.  And if an average of 18 m.p.h. doesn't sound enough it's worth noting that apart from the normal (i.e. 90 feet) changes in elevation along various parts of the route there is a hill of 189 metres to be climbed.  189 metres is 620ft 6164in.  Scriptor would have problems with the 6164 of an inch nowadays!

New Year visitors to The Willows

Ian looking resigned at John's constant flashing (the camera that is!)

I knew you couldn't keep straight faces for ever!

Reading time.

Sorry Mark !

I couldn't resist these -

Even knowing Mark doesn't like wearing hats...

I do worry about potential revenge one day!
